In 1946 the Fausti leather goods shop in Sant’Alessandro street, in Bergamo, was a major innovation within a suburb of arcades small shops. Opened by Tiziana Fausti's parents immediately after the war, the shop remained active until 1981. After working with them for some years, in 1979 Tiziana decided to set up a 16 square-meter-surface shop of her own selling designer shoes and bags. Her first success came with Prada's fabric bags of which she guessed the potential and became one of the first retailers in Italy.
In 1986 the wide range of products and the ever-growing clientele led to the vernissage of a new women's clothing boutique designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, in Piazza Dante.
In 2000 the accessories store was relocated in its current venue at Portici del Sentierone, merging it with women's clothing. The space in Piazza della Libertà became for male collections.
As a great fan and collector of contemporary art, in November 2010 Tiziana Fausti launched China Red: the first boutique-work-of-art entirely dedicated to accessories, and after a few years to men's collections, adjoining the women's best shop. The restyling was by the contemporary artist Flavio Favelli and architect Marco Costanzi: they set up a gallery space with China-style contamination, with red lacquer hand-painted furniture, shelves, floors, glass, and mirrors that clashed with the black ceiling.
In 2011 TIZIANAFAUSTI.COM was launched and the company became international, reaching clients and delivering its precious items all over the world.
In 2012 the Dior shop-in-shop was inaugurated within the main boutique's premises: a 100 square meters area with 3 windows, entirely dedicated to the iconic Maison's collections.
In 2013 Tiziana Fausti's second store was opened in Lugano - Switzerland, in the heart of the city's shopping center selling the best men's and women's labels.
In 2018 the FAUSTI KIDS store was opened close to the main boutique in Bergamo, to meet the growing demand for mini-fashion. Simultaneously, a section dedicated to children's luxury fashion was opened on the company's e-commerce.
In 2019 Tiziana Fausti celebrated 40 YEARS in business and embarked on a new venture by inaugurating Terrazza Fausti: a modern and refined restaurant and lounge bar with a terrace of 600 square meters set up like a metropolitan garden, overlooking the historic heart of Bergamo. The terrace bridges men's and women's stores, together with the Dior boutique.
In 2020 she launched the new e-commerce TIZIANAFAUSTI.COM, on which the accurate customer care at our Boutiques is also conveyed by our digital touch-point, to respond to an increasingly demanding market.
